Type of Project
As part of its Diversity in Business Initiative, the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce is working with the community to create a “Diverse Interests Round Table”.
Dan Aguilar, CEO of Smart Home Innovations & Engineering, Inc., has agreed to organize the formation of this round table and serve as its first chair. Working with a small group of small and diverse business leaders, we have developed a working vision statement for this group:
The strength and stability of a community comes from the recognition and inclusion of its diversity. The Diverse Interests Round Table provides an open-minded environment that allows for the sharing of triumphs and failures, challenges and opportunities, best practices and necessary changes. By connecting with, learning from and doing business with one another, we can change the dynamics of our economy and grow together.
